I went to Kenmark to pick up my bike yesterday, and like a kid with a new toy i had to get home fast and try it out.
it had been a few years since i had ridden any bike, let alone a road bike. i didnt really go too far, just around the neighborhood.
part way through my ride, i remembered i had downloaded an app for my Blackberry that was supposed to track on GPS the route i ride. it runs through a website called www.sanoodi.com
since i started the recording part way through my route it is only my partial route. My Route
my ENTIRE route was 10 km and it took me 30 minutes. i basically stuck to the roads in my subdivision to get a feel for my bike, and how to cycle in traffic with it.
in other news. i think we are going to go with www.pickuphockey.com to run our hockey pool fundraiser. it does trades and everything else we want in terms of functionality.

I was talking to one of the girls on my ball team last night, and she said that pickuphockey is the best site she's used... Apparently it's super-easy to navigate, and even her computer-illiterate dad can use it to run his pool. Can't wait for hockey season to start! :)
